D. Andrew Vloedman

D. Andrew Vloedman is a civil trial lawyer representing
clients in the Gainesville area and surrounding counties. Mr. Vloedman has jury trial experience in all
types of accident and injury cases. He graduated from the University of Florida, College of Law in 1981.
Mr. Vloedman has been admitted to the U.S. District Court, Northern and Middle Districts of Florida, and the
U.S. Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit. Mr. Vloedman was the Chair of the Judicial Nominating Commission, Eighth
Judicial Circuit in 1997 and served on the Commission from 1994 through 1998. He also chaired and was a member
of the Eighth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee from 1994 through 1996. From 1989 through 1992, he was an
Adjunct Faculty Member of the University of Florida, College of Law where he coached the trial team. In 1991, as
Coach of the Florida College of Law Trial Team, his team won 1st Place at the A.T.L.A. Student Trial
Advocacy Competition. In 1992, Mr. Vloedman was named the "Pro Bono Attorney of the Year" for the
Eighth Judicial Circuit Guardian Ad Litem Program. In 1993, he received a commendation for outstanding
service to the Guardian Ad Litem Program by the Supreme Court of Florida.
Mr. Vloedman maintains an AV
rating with Martindale-Hubble,
the highest rating for legal ability
and ethics. Mr. Vloedman has
been selected as a Florida Super
Lawyer in the fields of personal
injury and medical malpractice.
Mr. Vloedman has lived in the
Gainesville area since 1976.
Andy and his wife, Beverly, have
three children: Son, David, and
Katherine and Christine, their
twin daughters, and son-in-law,
Alex Fosser. Andy and Beverly
enjoy all activities that allow them
to spend time with their family.
